🚨 CALIFORNIA HAS CALIFORNIA FAMILY COUNCIL.
Different state. Different name. Same national policy network.

California Family Council (CFC) is officially listed by Family Policy Alliance as its California state ally. (Family Policy Alliance)

And when it comes to public education and public policy, CFC is VERY active.

👉 Public-school policy: CFC is currently organizing around legislation involving K–12 schools, parental rights, curriculum, religious objections, and school policy. In 2026, it created lobbying sheets specifically designed for supporters to take directly into legislators’ offices. (California Family)

👉 Parental rights: CFC has been aggressively promoting legal strategies for parents who object to public-school instruction on religious grounds and for teachers seeking religious accommodations from school policies and trainings. (California Family)

👉 Religion and publicly funded education: CFC is also advocating around whether religious schools can participate in publicly funded education programs without complying with restrictions on religious activity. Most recently, it has been fighting over SB 685 and the rules governing religious private schools that contract with public districts to serve students with disabilities. (California Family)

And this is not just a group posting opinions online. CFC is actively training people to lobby.

It provides bill summaries, talking points, pre-written letters, and lobbying sheets, and tells supporters to take those materials directly to lawmakers in Sacramento or their home districts. (California Family)

That is what these state-level organizations actually do.

-They build networks.
-They identify legislation.
-They mobilize supporters.
-They supply the messaging.
-And they put organized pressure on lawmakers.

Family Policy Alliance itself identifies California Family Council as its California state ally. (Family Policy Alliance)

The names change. The states change.

But once you start following the legislation — especially around public schools, parental rights, religious access, curriculum and public funding for private education — the network becomes a whole lot easier to see. 👀
