    This teenager has been a public political activist for years. She has publicly gone after teachers, promoted inflammatory rhetoric, and repeatedly inserted herself into political confrontations. There are also screenshots attributed to her father in which he acknowledges posting a bathroom photo of a student he described as trans. Rumor is the 17 year old took them and posted them to Snapchat FIRST.

    Where was all this outrage about adults and children when another student’s privacy, safety and dignity were on the line?

    Then here, she approached an adult who had already drawn a boundary, continued the confrontation, reportedly described the encounter herself as “not that bad,” and nine days later it went to police.

    Now it’s a national spectacle.
    Being 17 matters. It does not require everyone else to pretend none of the context exists.
