Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd held up a LifeWise Academy mug during an official âMorning Briefingâ and promoted a program that removes public-school students during the school day for Bible instruction.
Then came the unbelievable part:
âI donât know the details.â

You are speaking from an official Sheriffâs Office platform.
YOU SHOULD KNOW THE DETAILS BEFORE YOU USE A GOVERNMENT PLATFORM TO SHILL FOR IT.
This is exactly how the normalization of Christian nationalism happens: the boundaries between government authority, public education, and one particular expression of Christianity get treated like they simply donât matter.
LifeWise doesnât need the Polk County Sheriffâs Office doing its advertising.
And the government has no business doing it.
