THIS is the kind of thing parents have been telling us about LifeWise Academy for YEARS.

Children being used to recruit other children. During the PUBLIC SCHOOL DAY.

This is a parent’s experience.
How many times do we have to say it?

PUBLIC SCHOOLS ARE NOT LIFEWISE’S RECRUITMENT GROUNDS. AND CHILDREN ARE NOT THEIR RECRUITMENT TEAM.

What people are saying:

  • Facebook User: Form a speakers against LifeWise group and have them rotate with speeches during public comments at every school board meeting. Let each speaker address different aspects of the harm this program is doing to the schools and to the students who don’t attend RTRI.
    • Secular Education Association: Facebook User we’ve used this strategy many times. When your state legislators mandate your district allow this (as they have in basically every state they touch) it makes allll of this effort moot. We’ve also experienced that.
    • Facebook User: I don’t think it makes it moot. I think it lets everyone in the community know that they are not just going to settle in and let LifeWise run the show. It’s like not stopping protests just because you can’t get Trump out of office. In KY we still are a “may” state and we intend to fight to keep it that way.
    • Facebook User: Facebook User you need to go representative by representative and senator to talk to them. Get them to sign a pledge to keep school boards the people who decide.
    • Secular Education Association: Facebook User nobody is saying you should stop protesting! We’re telling you what we’ve already experienced firsthand. You can have hundreds of people speaking at school board meetings, organize your entire community, and even convince your board to reject LifeWise. In every district in your state – But if the state legislature changes the law and requires districts to allow qualifying programs, none of that opposition gives your board the power to say no. That’s not a hypothetical. It happened here in Ohio. It happened in Indiana. It happened in North Carolina. It happened in Iowa. In Montana. Texas. And that’s exactly why Kitty’s suggestion matters. The people you need to be organizing against right now are the legislators who can take that local control away. Kentucky is still a “may allow” state. You have an opportunity to protect that before it’s gone. We’re not dismissing your efforts. We’re trying to keep you from learning the same lesson we learned the hard way. You cannot fight this exclusively at the school board level and expect to win when the decision is ultimately being made at the statehouse.
  • Facebook User: No organization –religious or otherwise — should pirate instruction time and pull kids out of the classtroom.
  • Facebook User: Hey….I have some candy and puppies in my van….get in and I will give you some…..same thing.
  • Facebook User: Life wise vetting checklist 1: have you accepted Jesus? Yes. 2: are you a liar? Yes. You are now accepted
