šØ LIFEWISE ACADEMY. WALLBUILDERS. TEXAS POLITICIANS. ITāS ALL CONNECTED.
A new investigation by Texas Tribune reveals how aggressively Texas politicians are working to put Christianity into public schools and governmentā¦Meet Texas State Senator Mayes Middleton.
-He helped push laws putting the Ten Commandments in public school classrooms, allowing religious chaplains in schools, and creating time for prayer during the school day.
-He has publicly declared: āThere is no such thing as āseparation of church and stateā in our Constitution.ā š¤Æ
-Heās also warned about the supposed āIslamification of Texas.ā š”š
-And now heās running for Texas Attorney General, where heād have even more power to defend and advance these policies⦠š³
And whoās supporting him?
David Barton, founder of WallBuilders.
šØIn 2024, LifeWise Academy was the presenting sponsor of WallBuildersā Pro-Family Legislative Conference. LifeWise CEO Joel Penton was featured in the conference materials. Yeah.
LifeWise Academy, the organization taking children out of public school classrooms for Bible instruction ā> sponsored a legislative conference run by an organization whose founder is now ā> backing a politician who openly rejects church-state separation. š
These ARE NOT separate, unrelated stories.
-One organization works to bring religious instruction into the public school day.
-Another promotes a Christian-centered interpretation of American history and influences lawmakers.
-Politicians then introduce legislation expanding religionās role in public schools.
And while Texas officials push Christianity into classrooms, the stateās attorney general has also challenged a prayer space used by Muslim studentsāeven though it was open to students of every religion!
THIS ISNāT ABOUT RELIGIOUS FREEDOM.
ā Itās about a Christian nationalist movement working to take control of our public schools, our government, and ultimately the direction of this country. And theyāre not hiding it.
Theyāre writing the laws.
Funding the organizations.
Building political relationships.
Challenging decades of constitutional precedent.
And using OUR PUBLIC SCHOOLS as one of their biggest battlegrounds.
This is an extremely organized effort to reshape America into a country where one version of Christianity holds government power over everyone else. And if you think this stops at the classroom door, you havenāt been paying attention.
THEY DONāT JUST WANT THE FREEDOM TO PRACTICE THEIR RELIGION. THEY WANT THE POWER TO MAKE THEIR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS EVERYONE ELSEāS PROBLEM.
Your children. Your public schools. Your tax dollars. Your government. Your rights.

These connections matter. And the public deserves to know about them.
- Facebook User: Lifewise DOES NOT take away any time from regularly scheduled classes but meets during the lunch break in MOST communities! If a community wants these programs ( which Lifewise supporters do), then they should have the freedom to do so! Lifewise could not run without the support of their community!!! If unwanted- then go to a place that does not support these things! Itās that simple!!!
- Facebook User: Facebook User MOST PROGRAMS operate during classroom time this is a fact!!!!
- Facebook User: Facebook User what about the communities that said NO and had themselves opened up like a Handmaid’s legs???
My COMMUNITY said NO in 2023.
Absolute no.
LifeWise came in and held a party to celebrate the law- IN MY TOWN- before passage of HB8- Why? Joel Penton had a hand shake in front of witnesses and was told it was a done deal. How’s that for “freedom and democracy”.
- Facebook User: Facebook User in order to open a Lifewise group in any school district, there needs to be enough volunteers, people who support it financially, teachers to teach it, church or place to hold it, etc and the cooperation with the school district – that in itself is a huge support system! That means that there was enough of a support in your district to run it!!! Just because a few people make a ā stinkā doesnāt mean that the school should say no. Also any other type of organization has the right to do the same, which is why that HB passed! It is for your freedom too! If you want to open an alternative, you are welcome to- but good luck getting the support from so many people!!! So- the success of Lifewise is really your success too!
- Secular Education Association: Facebook User LIFEWISE ABSOLUTELY DOES TAKE AWAY REGULARLY SCHEDULED CLASSES. Lunch time is the compromise when a school doesnāt want them to take the place of specials like Art, Music, PE, Library and STEM. Youāre right Virginia- they couldnāt run without the support from the community, because they are funneling resources OUT of your community and TO their corporate headquarters and interests. The reason so many support LifeWise is because they CONSTANTLY lie and prey on those who are easily susceptible to believing anything labeled āChristianā is safe and good. YOUāVE BEEN DUPED.

ć in order to open a Lifewise group in any school district, there needs to be enough volunteers, people who support it financially, teachers to teach it, church or place to hold it, etcThere’s a few rich Nat Cs (Christian Nationalist) who fund Lifewise locally along with a few churches that also don’t believe in the separation of Church and State.
ć and the cooperation with the school district.
The law, HB8 FORCED that cooperation.
The program is operating at a loss locally.
It is NOT popular.
People see through Lifewise lies here because we were able to get the word out.“Forcing elected school boards to permit release time for religious instruction is another major erosion of local control, and is obviously pandering to Christian nationalist organizations and the elected and appointed state officials who are themselves Christian nationalists, or want to garner the political support of Christian nationalist organizationsAlthough some members of the organization suggest that it is just about character education, when you begin probing some of them about their beliefs and intentions for the program, they will tell you, some directly and some indirectly, their intentions,” Hile said. “It sounds to me like indoctrination in Christian nationalist ideology.” -Vermilion Schools’ superintendent, David Hile
ć that in itself is a huge support system! That means that there was enough of a support in your district to run it!!!
It’s running at a negative balance and will hopefully close. š
ć Just because a few people make a ā stinkā doesnāt mean that the school should say no.
Its HUGELY unpopular here.
ćAlso any other type of organization has the right to do the same, which is why that HB passed!
Its the $100k lady.
ćIt is for your freedom too! If you want to open an alternative, you are welcome to- but good luck getting the support from so many people!!! So- the success of Lifewise is really your success too!
Incorrect. OUR community supports public education and not Christian Nationalism.
- Facebook User: Facebook User here’s my question to you or any other Lifewise supporter- why during school hours?
Why does the school have to sacrifice education time for YOUR FAILURE to parent and prioritize religious instruction on your time?
Why should OTHER KIDS pay the price for lost education time? How do they OPT out of bullying and ostracization that LifeWise Academy causes????
How do Jewish students opt out of the antisemitism being sent at them, that is LEARNED at Lifewise? - Facebook User: Facebook User always get crickets on the hard questions.
- Facebook User: Yep, Barton was on the Texas Social Studies curriculum advisory panel & he is on the Truth & Liberty Coalition board based in Woodland Park CO. Truth & Liberty Coalition formed Transform Colorado and created church voter guides for 30 Colorado school board elections. They also took over the Woodland Park CO school board, the community finally told their school board back after turmoil.

THE WHOLE POINT OF AMERICAN CAPITALISM IS COVETTING YOUR POSSESSIONS AND PROPERTY
- Facebook User: David Barton has been lying to everyone about American History for many many decades now. He is old news re-wrapped in new clothes. And the only way to combat him is to point out his lies in public and expose him as often as possible…right? But that hasn’t worked and won’t work. Even his publishers pulled his book because of the lies and he keeps rolling on with the support of Supreme Court justices etc. At some point, I hope this whole thing with Christianity in America wears people out to the point that more people turn their backs on it and we see more and more empty churches.
