US vs. THEM- This is the attitude they’re bringing into our public schools.
One parent describes watching children at a PUBLIC splash pad being yelled at for playing with kids who weren’t part of their religious group. Imagine that. Children being discouraged from simply playing with other children.
And now we’re inviting organizations with this kind of exclusionary attitude into the public school day? Public schools are supposed to bring children together. Not divide them into insiders and outsiders.
Our children don’t need more reasons to see their classmates as different. They need more opportunities to see what they have in common.
