WHAT DID YOU DO WHILE THEY TOOK AWAY YOUR CHILDREN’S FUTURE?
Not your future.
THEIRS.
Because our children sitting in classrooms today cannot vote against the politicians defunding their schools.
They cannot vote against the people diverting public education dollars into private and religious institutions.
They cannot vote against the lawmakers handing religious organizations greater influence over their school day.
They cannot vote against the politicians who believe Christian children deserve a public education that reflects their faith, while everyone else’s children are expected to accommodate it.
BUT YOU CAN.
And someday, those children will be adults.
They’ll inherit whatever we allowed this country to become. They’ll have every right to ask us:
YOU KNEW WHAT WAS HAPPENING.
YOU HAD A VOTE.
DID YOU FIGHT FOR US, OR DID YOU LET IT HAPPEN?
Today is Election Day.
GO VOTE.
